A loud siren at the point of intrusion is still one of the most effective deterrents available. The PoE sirens we install are powered over Ethernet - no separate mains connection, no battery backup to fail, and no wireless signal to jam. - Can you add sensors to my existing Doberman CCTV system?
- Yes, provided your existing system has available PoE ports or we can add a switch to expand capacity. The sensors integrate with the same network and management interface your cameras already use.
- What happens when a sensor triggers?
- The system logs the event, sends a push notification to your phone, and can activate a siren or trigger a camera recording depending on how the rules are configured. You see exactly which sensor triggered and when.
- Do I need a separate alarm panel?
- No. The sensors connect directly to your PoE network and are managed through the same interface as your cameras. There is no traditional alarm panel, no separate keypad, and no additional monthly monitoring contract required.
- How many sensors does a typical home need?
